< HOT NEWS> Applications are now invited from Scouts & Explorers to be part of the East Lancs Jamboree Contingent in 2011. This is a 'once-in-a-lifetime' opportunity which is not to be missed. Places are limited and you need to be born between 25 July 2003 & 27 Jul 1997 to qualify. Further details and application form.

1. Beavers

5-7th March. Beaver sleepover in the Lodge, Bowley. loads of activities and the chance to stay out and sleepover with friends. More details and permission forms.

2. cubs

Sat 6th March. County Football Competition. Top 2 teams from District Competition go through to represent the District.

Sat 15th May. Cub County Skills Competition. Further info to be advised shortly. [Chris Harrop]

Sat 12th June. County Fun Day at Bowley. Details still to be advised.

3. Scouts & Explorers

31st Jul - 7th Aug. Chamboree 2010. Knutsford. Great opportunity for Scouts & Explorers to experience a large international camp. Further details and expression of interest form. See also www.chamboree2010.co.uk

25-27th Sept. District camp - Camping weekend with canoeing/kayaking on the Lancaster Canal. Open to Scout Sections and Explorers. Limited number of places so book early. Further details and forms.
